Work Description:
Your everyday activities would include:
Develop and maintain physics-based simulation environments for robotics applications using tools like Gazebo, CoppeliaSim or NVIDIA Isaac Sim. Integrate robotic models, sensors, and actuators into simulation frameworks. Implement and optimize control algorithms, motion planning, and perception modules in simulation.
Develop testing frameworks for validating robotic behaviours and performance in simulation.
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure simulation fidelity and real-world applicability.
Work with ROS/ROS2 and other middleware to bridge simulation with real-world deployments.
Optimize simulations for performance and real-time execution where necessary.
